Baluster form tankard with broad handle, the body with powder manganese glaze, to the center front, a stylized flower in oval cartouche, with scrolling foliate cartouche surround. Pewter clad foot. Together with a narrow bodied globular enghalskrug with elongated neck, angular broad handle, and spreading foot. White tin glaze throughout. Pewter clad foot.
The pewter lid with 80 and touch mark FSC in shield.

Provenance: Historic Filoli Estate, Woodside, CA.
Condition: Chip to spout and related tip loss, rough upper edge of rim, scattered glaze loss, a line of glaze loss to handle. Also, irregular application of the manganese has resulted in areas of freckled white and purple. The enghalskrug with repairs to upper rim, chips to spout, chips glued into place all at rim repairs to foot, break in handle glued back together and all of the repairs overpainted, now visible. Glaze with black dots scattered across surface, including the handle.
