Comprising a hot water kettle on stand with burner, coffee pot, tea pot, creamer, covered sugar, and a waste bowl all with fluted bodies, incised foliate decoration all pieces with REK monograms the waste-bowl and creamer with gilt-washed interiors accompanied by two unassociated sterling tongs.
Marked with GORHAM / Durgin cursive D mark / zeppelin mark / Sterling / 880-3 / SPAULDING-GORHAM, some with additional markings relating to volume, the kettle also with 925 1000 / ni-plane symbol the kettle stand marked STERLING / 1 the burner marked GORHAM / lion passant / anchor / G / STERLING / P / ship symbol the kettle with
Approximate weighable silver includes finials, spacers, and burner interior parts: 131.6836 troy oz. Approximate dimensions: Kettle on stand 12 1/2 inches high, coffee pot 9 inches high, tea pot 6 inches high..
Condition: All spaced handles are loose, the tea pot handle is partially detached. Kettle with bend to nub that rests on the stand. Cracking to the finials. Minor tarnish. Very minor surface wear overall. Small dent to creamer side.
