Each porcelain bottle enameled with a couple engaging in an amorous act on either side, inscribed to the recessed base with a six-character Guanxu mark in red, with a hardstone stopper a boxwood netsuke of a woman pleasing herself and a 19th-century wood netsuke of a man holding a clam shell, the lower part of which is removable to reveal male and female body parts, the underside with two incised characters reading Gyokusen.
Height of each: 2 1/2 inches (6.3 cm).
