Circa 1880.
Rectangular, each depicting a standing courtier wooing a maiden within suggested architectural surround. Frames covered in turquoise velvet, with Renaissance style metal mounts to corners.
Approximate dimensions: 15 3/4 x 10 1/4 x 3 inches, the bronze plaques. 24 x 18 x 4 1/2 inches framed..
Provenance: Property of an Alameda Estate.
Condition: the plaques with some mould, wear. Traces of possibly silvering, now mostly worn away. The velvet over the frames, worn and stained.
