Shelton, Staffordshire, England 1781-1835.
Circa 1820.
Comprising Londond-shaped teapot and cover, sugar and cover, creamer, saucer dish, and seven teacup and saucer sets. Each article enameled with stylized Chinoiserie design of brown bands enclosing leaning tree, and flowering rock in polychrome hues.
Pattern number 1435 to major articles, in brown writing to undersides.
Approximate dimensions: Teapot 6 high x 10 3/4 inches long, sugar 5 high x 7 1/2 inches wide, creamer 4 high x 6 1/4 inches long, saucers 5 5/8 inches diameter..
Condition: Repair to sugar lid and handle, hairline crack to teacup, slight paint loss throughout.
