The globular body supported on a splayed foot rising to a tapering neck with raised bands and flared rim,
covered overall with rich grayish blue glaze suffused with golden russet crackles.
Approximate height, 10.7 inches.
Provenance: From the collection of Captain Edward Pearce, Annapolis, Maryland, who served with U.S. Navy stationed in Japan, and England during the 1960s.
Condition: Glaze gap and old chip repairto rim.
