Provenance: Label affixed verso for the 9th Annual State-Wide Exhibition, with Frank Tenney Johnsons name, address: 22 Champion Place, and title: A Lone Rider Alhambra. Purchased in 1936 by a Private Collector, Oakland CA, by familial descent to current owner Oakland, CA.
