19th Century Inlaid Burl Rosewood Cave a Liqueur Tantalus

Circa 1850.
Inlaid burl rosewwod case with monogram U.S to the top,containing: four cut glass decanters and 14 cut glass drinking glasses. The glassware attributed to Baccarat.
The decanters and stoppers with matched numerals 68, 74 and 97, the fourth decanter numeral 66 to decanter only. The glasses are not marked.
Approximate dimensions: 9 1/2 H. x 12 1/2 W. x 9 1/2 D..
Condition of the case: right side panel warped toward top. Missing two crystal stems. Decanter with numeral 66 has a replacement stopper, albeit a good match. The decanters are in very good condition. Two decanter stoppers have minute chips and two have shallow chips to the deep cuts of the cruciform tops. Most of the individual glasses have an assortment of typical small chips to rims and feet. Five have bigger, more serious rim chips.
