KPM Porcelain Portrait Plaque After Kaulbach. Painted rectangular porcelain plaque, after Friedrich August von Kaulbach (German, 1850-1920) painting "Im Gebet". The reverse impressed with "308 K", illegible pencil signature, antique German paper labels, additional pencil inscription. 19th century. {Approximate dimensions: 9 3/4" high x 6 3/4" wide.}. Condition: Light wear to edges. Minimal wear overall.

Chinese Silk and Fur Embroidered Opera Cape and Hat. The cape with white rabbit fur trim, with high collar and yoke, frog closures and a pair of pale blue ties with silk thread floral decor. Exterior extensively embroidered in bright colors with floral designs over peafowl, tigers, phoenix, cranes, etc, over gold and silver thread waves, and with silvered bosses stitched throughout. The interior with two large figures of performers toward lower center fronts, and with two brocade straps. The hat of stylized Asian wire frame, with sequin decoration on mesh body, and with gilt look embellishments. Condition: Overall condition is very good, with light wear and discoloration at neck; light loss of silver bosses; several loose threads. Hat with torn section near wire frame, losses to sequines and possibly associated.
