Ebonized area above the keyboard with brass inlay reading Kaiserl: Konigl: Hof D. Bosendorfer Wien Pianos Verfertiger additional maker markings to the soundboard include serial number 11547. Approximate dimensions when closed: 36 high x 54 1/2 wide x 69 inches long.. Condition: Wear and repair throughout. Out of tune. One dead key. Wood knob that secures the lid is loose. Illums Bolighus Mid Century Modern Armchair and Ottoman
Black leather upholstery, teak legs and ottoman frame. Badges to undersides read ILLUMS BOLIGHUS KOBENHAVN. Approximate dimensions: Chair 33 1/2 high x 32 wide x 32 inches deep, ottoman 16 1/4 high x 27 1/2 wide x 16 1/4 inches deep.. Condition: Significant cracking and weathering to leather. Some surface wear to wood areas. Area to head seems to be missing some kind of cushion.
Continuous back and seat with black leather upholstery shaped ply arms chrome finish base on five wheels. Underside with FRITZ HANSEN label. Approximate dimensions: 36 1/2 high x 25 wide x 20 inches deep.. Condition: Some wear and minor loss to plating on the base. Wood arms with light wear and chips to edges. Upholstery with very light wear. The lever to adjust height does not seem to work.
After Guillaume Coustou, Pair of Bronze Marly Horses
France. Circa 1900. After Guillaume Coustou the Elder (1677-1746). Pair of bronze statues en facent, of rearing horses, each with a classical male attendant clad with drapery to hips and holding the reins in his hands, all over low mounded, shaped oval bases. Approximate dimensions: 23 1/2 H. x 21 W. x 9 D.. Condition: One horse with rear hooves that are loose. Same horse with some scratches to horse chest. Minor dust and wear throughout.
Chinese Ge Type Porcelain Underglaze Red/Blue Vase
Circa: 18th to 19th Century. Of baluster body with waisted neck to flared rim, covered overall with a light gray glaze with dark crackles, incised a depicting one of the Eight Immortals, Li Tieguai is looking back and walking with a tiger, the bottom incised a double circle in underglaze blue. Height approximately 12 inches (30.4 cm). Condition: Overall wear, glaze losses, chips, cracks, and possible restoration mark.
Joseon Dynasty. Of constricted waisted body with a round shoulder to slightly curled mouth rim, cover overall with celadon green glaze, incised lotus and stem above the lappets, the bottom inscribed a makers mark. Height 10 1/2 inches (26.6 cm).
A Chinese Yellow Glazed Dragon Dish, Chenghua Mark
Of rounded dish with a flat rim rising from a short foot, covered overall with a mustard yellow glaze, incised to the interior with a Shou roundel surrounded by two dragons and stylized clouds, all within continuous swirl bands, the recessed base covered in white glaze and incised a six-character Chenghua mark within a double circle in underglaze blue. Diameter 6 7/8 inches (17.4 cm). Condition: Some surface wear.
Of deep rounded sides with a shallow groove below the rim, covered inside and out with a lustrous black glaze subtly suffused with fine cascading hares fur streaks, the glazed pooling above the foot revealing the dark gray stoneware body, and the rim bound in a metal band. Diameter 4.9 inches (12.4 cm). Condition: Minimal wear and scratches.
A Chinese Famille Rose Enameled Cup, Qianlong Mark
Painted in bright enamels with garden rocks and peonies in bloom surrounded by bamboo, bearing an inscription with seals to the other side, the recessed base incised a four-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue. Height approximately 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm).
Of baluster body with slightly waisted neck and gilt painted rim, depicting a quail looking up the sky on the garden rocks with peony bush on a turquoise-green enameled sgraffito ground, the recessed base bearing a six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue. Height approximately 8 1/2 inches (21.5 cm). Condition: Gilt losses on the rim area.
Of globular body rising from a short foot to a waisted neck and everted rim, finely enameled to depict a scene of Sanxing deities watching a scroll with three Tongzi kids, inscribed with seals to the other side, all between red and yellow key fret bands, the neck decorated with continuous lotus scrolls over a yellow ground, the interior and the bottom in turquoise glaze and the foot ring and the mouth rim painted in gilt, a four-character Qianlong mark to the recessed base. Height approximately 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm).
A Chinese Rectangular Form Cast Bronze Incense Burner
Of compressed rectangular body rising from four short feet, cast with two angular handles, the bottom incised a six-characters mark. Width 5 3/4 inches (14.6 cm). Condition: Wear and patina.
Each panel consists of three white marble plaques in square and rectangular shapes, the panels are incised and painted in polychrome color to depict Chinese traditional folk tales, including Taoist and Shan Hai Jing, Classic of Mountains and Seas, each panel exhibits an episode of a classic scene of mythical person, a sage or a beast in various activities in a landscape setting, the revised side painted to depict mountain landscape. Each panel: H 34 1/4 x W 6 1/2 inches (86.9 x 16.5 cm). Condition: Large cracks and hairlines to marble, scratches to wood. Ask the Asian Art Department for more information.
