Approximate weight not including glass insert: 482 grams.. Condition: Minor wear overall. Beaker feet with small dents. Brandy pan with miniscule dents.
The yellow gold ring with rectangular setting, black enamel centers woven with 6 strands of George Washingtons hair. The hair is accompanied by a letter detailing how this ring came to be. In short, the letter states GW gave a lock of hair to his godson Washington Stewart, the son of General Stewart of Philadelphia, who gave a portion to W. Desmond of Philadelphia, whose wife gave the letter writer 6 strands. The letter writer then took the strands to a jeweler to have the ring made. The signature to the letter appears to read Margaretta M. Hale and is dated Oct 3rd 1862.
This is also accompanied by a newspaper clipping detailing the sale of such ring at John Fiske Collection auction for 480 in 1913. Condition: Minor wear and patina. The ring tested at 14 karats.

The cover painted with a dragon and a phoenix facing each other amongst the clouds, the flaming pearl in the center, each side with a swirl band, the box surrounded by a floral band, underglaze blue Wanli mark in a double square on the bottom. The elegant vase, decorated with two opposing oval panels of the magnificent beast Qilin or Buddhist lion dogs in the garden landscape setting scenes, reserves against densely decorated Millefluer ground, the base inscribed a six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze red. The everted sides enameled with Buddhist eight treasure symbols Bajixian between the red key-fret border on the rim and a band of ruyi heads above the base, the bottom with six characters Guangxu mark in the copper red glaze to the recessed base, all with fitted wood base. Chinese Porcelain Covered Jar and a Rectangular Plaque
The first, an oval form lidded jar depicting three robed fairy ladies in leisure perusing activities, the other side with poetic inscriptions the second, a large rectangular plaque or a box cover with a rectangle yellow ground cartouche in the center decorated with figures in a court scene, all reserved in a turquoise ground decorated with Buddhist eight treasure symbols, the edges highlighted with orange enamel. Tallest: Height 14 inches (35.5 cm) with base. Condition: Minor wear and paint losses.
The tall cylindrical body with two large shaped cartouches closing birds and peonies scenes, the neck and between with similar shaped panels decoration, all reserved on a bright orange ground highlighted with gilt ruyi cloud decorations, with a carved rosewood base. Height 23 1/2 inches (59.6 cm) with base. Condition: Some wear and dent, light paint losses.
Each cup decorated with roundel Shou surrounded by lotus stems, the ruyi border on the rim with a gilded line, the bottom inscribed six characters Yongzheng mark in underglaze blue. Diameter 3 1/4 inches (8.2 cm).
Of globular body rising to a tall cylindrical neck, finely enameled with stylized bats among leafy branches bearing ripen peach and ribbon-tied ruyi scrolls, all interspersed with shou medallions over a rich yellow ground, the shoulder decorated with a blue-ground floral scroll band, the base inscribed with a six-characters Guangxu mark. Height 13.5 inches (34.2 cm). Condition: Minor gilt losses. The base drilled as a lamp stand, fitted with gilt-bronze stand.
The globular body rising to a tall tapered neck with a flared rim, painted with gilt butterflies with stylized lotus lappets encircle the foot and ruyi-head pendant below the rim, the rim decorated with a band of lotus scrolls interspersed with Shou characters, all reserved on a rich powder-blue enamel, the base inscribed with a six-character Guangxu mark in gilt enamel. Height 15.8 inches (40.1 cm). Condition: Minor gilt losses. Fitted with gilt-bronze stand.
Of deep sides with an everted rim, finely enameled around the exterior with four gilt-bordered medallions each enclosing leafy stems bearing peach and floral blossom, all divided by lotus scrolls reserved on a blue sgraffito ground, interior painted in blue enamel with a floral medallion surrounded by four composites and floral sprays, the base inscribed with Daoguang seal mark. Diameter 6 inches (15.2 cm).
Of deep rounded sides with an everted rim, the exterior with four medallions with one painted with celestial beauty and another with a young man riding an ox, all divided by blooming floral scrolls reserved on a yellow ground, interior with a central medallion painted in blue enamel with the couple together, all surrounded by four stylized lingzhi scrolls, the base inscribed with iron-red Jiaqing seal mark. Diameter 5.9 inches (14.9 cm).
Of cylinder form, the wall decorated in underglaze blue, depicting two birds beside the river with the Chinese poem and seal, in the style of the artist Wang Bu, the base inscribed a six-character seal mark in underglaze blue. Two Chinese Blue and White Porcelain Children at Play
The first, a globular jar with a carved wooden lid, the body fully decorated with little children in various poses in underglaze blue on the crackled glaze of ivory white background the second, a circular box with lid, painted with a group of children with a dog on a border of double lines, the reversed side surrounded by a band of dancing children, six-character Kangxi mark in a double circle to the reentrant bottom. Tallest: Height 5 1/2 inches (13.9 cm). Condition: Some dents and hairlines.
Each bowl raised on a short recessed foot, the exterior covered with a cafe-au-lait glaze, the interior depicting five fishes underwater in underglaze blue over a white ground, the bottom inscribed with a handwritten Chinese character Yu mark. Chinese Yellow Ground Blue and White Sandou Meiping
The tall globular body to a short neck, the wall decorated with branches of pomegranates and peaches in underglaze blue over the yellow ground, the bottom remains unglazed. Height: 15.5 inches (38 cm).
Of doomed form, the tapering sides rising to a rounded shoulder with an incurved mouth rim, covered with a crimson-red glaze transmuting to dark raspberry-tinged flecks, the countersunk baseinscribed with apoem in gilt calligraphic characters.

Copper Red Glaze Jardiniere with Base, Yongzheng Mark
Well potted, the exterior wall is relief-decorated with ribs glazed in copper-red over the pale blue-tinged glaze, the interior covered with sky blue glaze, four characters apocryphal Yongzheng Mark to recessed base, with a carved rosewood base. Diameter 5 1/4 x Height 4 1/2 inches (13.3 x 11.4 cm) with base.
Of globular form, covered overall with brownish-red glaze with mottled green effects, the rim and bottom left the white ground, and the reentrant bottom inscribed six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue. Height 3 inches (7.6 cm).

Of elegant ovoid body rising to a tall cylindrical neck with a flared rim, the lower body carved with upright chrysanthemum petals, covered overall with lush rose-colored glaze suffused with darker speckling and mottled pink patches, the base with a poem inscribed gilt characters, rim bound in a gilt metal band. Two Straw Glazed Pottery Amphora and a Wine Vessel
Possibly Tang Dynasty. The first, a smaller straw glazed wine vessel, applied with dragon-head handle and dog head spout, the upper part covered with pale cream and olive green glaze, the lower part remains unglazed the second, with oviform body and slender neck, flanked by a pair of dragon-head handles and covered with a glaze of pale cream tone stopping in an irregular line above the shoulder exposing the whitish body. Tallest: Height 13 inches (33 cm).
Of circular body rising from a flared foot to a slightly everted rim, the exterior decorated with relief bands of meander patterns and archaic motifs. Width 5 1/2 inches (13.9 cm). Condition: Wear on the interior.
Comprising: Two similar figures of the Goddess of Mercy - Guanyin wearing flowing robes, seated in a relaxed pose on rocks and a larger seated Guanyin with her arms folded and resting on her laps, atop a fitted wooden base. Well potted with partial crackle Ge-type glaze, depicting a drunken scholar poet reclining on a large wine jar, wearing a flowing robe, the base with incised Markers mark Chen Wei Yan (-1926, active during Qing dynasty Guangxu period.), all with fitted wood base. Five Tibetan / Japanese Buddhist Statues and Pray Boxes
Including a Tibetan copper alloy figure of multiple arms seated Buddha on a double lotus base, a Japanese cast iron standing figure of Guanyin cannon with halo, an arched shaped Tibetan silver brass ghau box containing a polychrome clay icon, the box is inlaid with turquoise bead decoration, a Japanese cast copper alloy seated Buddha, and a Japanese gilt lacquer wooden hinged traveling shine containing a tiny gilt deity. Tibetan Bronze Fu Dog and Gilt Bronze Dancing Deity
Comprising: The first, A Chinese cast iron Buddhist lion - Foo dog censer, the face depicted with bulging eyes and open-jaw revealing fangs, tail curls up, the head is a detachable censer cover The second is a Sino-Tibetan gilt-bronze figure of Vajrapani Wrathful Deity Statue, right-hand holds the thunderbolt with a flame Mandela on the back, atop a lotus petal base. Tallest: Height 9 3/4 inches (24.7 cm). Condition: Gilt losses and oxidization.
Including a cloisonne horn with dragon decoration, a metal bhumba with ruyi band, two incense balls in various sizes, and a ritual ceremonial hat. Largest: Width 11 inches (27.9 cm). Condition: All with wear commensurate with age.
Constructed in three parts, a stem tray, a removable cup, and a tapering domed cover. The exterior is brilliantly decorated in pink, yellow, blue, red, and white enamels with evenly spaced blossoming lotus borne on leafy tendrils, all between ruyi-head borders and reserved on a rich turquoise ground. An incised Qianlong four-character mark to the center top of the cover. Height: approximately 13 inches (33 cm), diameter: 13 1/2 inches (34.5 cm). Condition: Wear commensurate with age.
The first of red silk woven with shou emblems, floral sprays, and bats, with polychrome borders and ruyi-shaped hems the second of pink silk embellished with roundels against a stippled ground, with borders of foliate meanders the third of pale blue silk woven with goldfish, with pale pink borders. First: 23 1/2 inches (59.6 cm) long second: 34 inches (86.3 cm) third: 24 3/4 inches (62.8 cm).
The red silk ground worked in couched gilt thread, with a large rectangular reserve within a key-fret border between the Eight Immortals, the upper register with a front-facing bat holding a flower basket suspending an endless knot flanked by two opposing cranes, all between a pair of phoenixes, the lower register with a qi lin between a pair of peacocks, with applied mirror discs. Measurements: 113 7/8 x 55 inches (289.2 x 139.7 cm). Condition: Some staining, fraying, holes, some mirror discs missing.
Of ivory stain embroidered in Peking knot and forbidden stitches, depicting elegant ladies in a garden landscape with rocks and pagodas. Framed and glazed with tassels. H 25 1/2 x W 7 inches (64.7 x 17.7 cm).
A Large Chinese Reticulated Carved and Gilt Wall Panel

Chinese Lacquer Wall Plaques with Hardstone Overlay
China. Late Qing/Republic period. Of vertical format constructed as a shadow box, the black lacquer ground of the recessed back panel-mounted with a four-character inscription carved from the bone above flowering branches in vases, incense burners, a bowl of fruit, a musical chime, a teapot, and cup cut from various colored hardstones, supported on reticulated stands also of lacquered wood, the flower petals, and leaves wired onto gilt-metal branches. 54 1/4 x 24 inches (138.5 x 61cm). A Carved Hongmu Hardwood Luohanbed and A Kang Table
China. 20th Century. Of rectangular form, the spindle back of Luohanbed decorated with three sections of pierced carved horizontal bars, with heart and half-circle shape patterns, the two side railings are similarly carved, the door panels of two drawers and two storage cabinets under the seat are carved with floral and squash decorations, all raised on thick cylindrical legs. The Kang table is carved en suite. H 34 1/2 x W 76 1/2 x D 25 1/4 inches (87.6 x 194.3 x 64.1 cm).
Lightly decorated with origami cranes with sakura, a top layer of sliding doors, pair of hinged doors in the center, attached metal decorations with tassels, the bottom composed of six drawers with iron handles. H 61 3/4 x W 46 x D 15 5/8 inches (156.8 x 116.8 x 39.6 cm).
Ink and color on paper, entitled, inscribed, signed, and artist seal, attributed to Wang Qingyun (A Student of the well-known Chinese painter: Fan Zeng, born: 1938). Signed Wang Qingyun with five seals of the artist. Framed and glazed. Size of frame: 81 5/8 x 45 3/4 inches (207.3 x 116.2 cm).

Hanging scroll, ink, color, and gold pigment on silk portraying Amida Buddha accompanied by the bodhisattvas Kannon and Seishi descending from Tushita heaven to welcome the dying soul into the Western Paradise, an artist seal with signature on the bottom right corner, all in a pine box. A Japanese Inlaid Iron Abumi and a Gilt Stacking Box
The first is a single Japanese inlaid iron Abumi stirrup, the entire surface decorated in brass Karakusa, depicting a pheasant holding a flower breach the stirrup plate decorated with a pierced wheel form symbol, the interior lacquered with gold Nashiji the second is a five tiers gilt stacking box with plum blooming tree decorations. Length of Abumi:12 1/2 inches (32 cm), Height of the stacking box: 12 inches (31 cm). Condition: Some cracks and wear.
