The warm black rim with rouletted gilt paste scroll and foliate border, with Chinoiserie vignettes in cartouches, the cavetto with gilt geometric foliate designs centering the well, painted in polychrome enamels with the scene of the fish seller, revealing her wares on the steps of a home, to the maid and cook at the door. Signed, lower right, at 7 oclock, Wagner, underlined. The back with blue beehive mark gilt foliate designs over underglaze blue marks. Maquereaux Maquereaux /Frais et gros to underside in black enamel script. Indistinct red enamel numerals to foot. Approximate dimensions: 10 Diameter..
