Condition: Some surface wear throughout. Some rubbing to gilt. Some crazing. Small tureen with small firing crack to interior. Small slake chip to dessert plate underside rim. Another dessert plate with hairline crack to underside, one with hairline visible to underside rim.

Eight Dresden Porcelain Portrait Plates Incl Wagner

Circa 1890 - 1920.
Each moulded with scalloped borders, with elaborate etched rouletted and painted gilt and silvered gilt borders, on rims of varied hues, framing well painted busts of women to the centers, and signed by various artists including Wagner. The portraits of :Innocence by Wagner and Goldhaubschen by F. Tenne Konigen Louise, by Jetzehe, Elisabeth, painted by Torberger. Portraits of Grafin Potocha, Tul. Adel. Recamier, Lebrun Lebrunn Selfportrait and Princess de Lamballe Rioult, painted by Lamm, The portrait of Goldhaubschen in elaborate giltwood scrolling frame.
The Wagner plate with underglaze blue beehive mark and Germany in black script, with a printed red ovular retailers mark for Budapest. The framed example with undeglaze blue behive and black script Austria. The remaining plates with blue Lamm marks.
Approximate dimensions: 9 1/2 Diameters the framed example 4 H. x 18 Diameter.
The overall condition of the plates is very good, with minimal scratching, wear and losses to gilding. Very minor patination to gilding. Please note that some of the plates have minor dimpling to surfaces, as manufactured. The giltwood frame has minor cracking and some losses to scrolls.

Circa 1930.
A harlequin set in paired pale blue, red, off white, green, lustered purple and brown, the exterior sides all painted in polychrome enamels with Rococo style figures in outdoor settings, courting, etc., under jeweled and raised rouletted gilt rims, repeated to saucers.
Marked in blue enamel with lamb in outline, Dresden, 170 and gilt figured mark.
Approximate dimensions: Cups 3 1/8 high x 3 1/4 inches diameter, saucers 5 diameter..
Condition: Light wear, mainly in the form of faint scratches to the gilt. Off-white saucer with slight firing defect to rim in the form of an indent. Light blue saucer with a series of similar smaller defects.

Two Victorian Mother of Pearl Clam Shell Boxes Etuis

Circa 1870 - 1880.
The first designed as an oversized fruit, on and within a silverplate foliate and vine stand, the blue silk lined lower body interior with two presentation glass scent bottles with silver caps, monogram to cap tops. The second, an etui, with gilt brass mounts incorporating a hinge and clasp, the shell top with silvered monogram. The lower body lined in pink silk brocaded, with a coral beaded and metal edge, holding small scale button hook, file and awl, each with mother of pearl handles.
Approximate dimensions: The first 5 1/2 H. x 6 1/8 W. x 3 D. The second 3 H. x 4 3/4 W. x 2 1/2 D..
Condition: The first with heavy patination to the silverplate minor scratching and wear staining and dirt to silk to interior, and minor tearing to that lining around area casing the bottles both bottles have original covers and caps. Caps with scratches, bottles dirty and dusty. The second with light scratching to gilt brass and to shell glue has dried holding the coral and metal edging so some of that is loose. Heavy patina to the tools.

Circa 1870 - 1880.
The first, an ovular mother of pearl clam shell body, mounted in gilt brass with a tooled band to edge, surmounted by an opposed pair of doves, each perching on a grapevine with leaves and fruit, that conjoins the two side strands as a pedestal,terminating below the base, in a flat, low rounded rectangular base. The second, a smaller example, mounted in gilt brass with a tooled band to edge, resting on two gryphons wings, the tail ends sticking out to opposing sides.
Approximate dimensions: 6 1/4 H. x 8 1/8 W. x 3 7/8 D. overall..
Condition: Overall condition is good. The upper edges, doves tails, etc. with minor bent areas. The smaller example with 1 1/2 L. shallow crack to shell interior.
