Constructed in three tiers, the body raised on three animal-mask legs and carved with archaistic chilong scrolls, flanked by two reticulated scroll handles each suspending a loose ring, the neck also with reticulated square scrolls, surmounted by a three-layered reticulated cylindrical perfumer and the central band set with four chilong each wrapped around a scroll-like embellishment, the cover shaped as a six-peaked tiled roof, all surmounted by carved dragon head finial. The stone of ever celadon green hue.

The top section with ebonized wood radiating from a single point with a mirrored backdrop, the lower mirrored secion with an ebonized frame, with the whole surround being burl veneer.
Approximate dimensions: 65 1/4 high x 32 inches wide..
Condition: Some cracking to the veneer, no apparent loss.

Hermannstadt, Romania.
Crest adorend with large finial and scroll carvings, white enameled hand-painted dial with roman numeral numbers in black, with the case flanked by corinthian styled columns, and finials on the bottom of the case.
Julius Ers, Hermannstadt written on the dial.
Approximate dimensions: 52 high x 18 1/2 wide x 7 1/2 inches deep..
Condition: General minor wear to case, such as small marks and scratches. One glass side panel is loose. Possible later finials.
Winder, two weights, and pendulum available.

Second quarter, 19th Century.
Broken scrolled pediment with small brass finial, with humidity gauge above a thermometer, above a round barometer with a pierced hand, and a balance gauge at the bottom. Mother of pearl inlaid foliate motif throughout.
Signed A. Tagliabue, 31 Brook Street, Holborn.
Approximate dimensions: 42 high x 12 1/4 inches wide..
Condition: Miniscule cracks to the body. Some wear to the barometer.
