The first of flattened ovoid form, raised on a short straight foot and slightly concave base, rising to a waisted neck and flat lip, brightly enameled and molded in high relief with maidens and attendants in garden settings flanked by banana leaves issuing from gnarled rocks, with a four-character mark the second of flattened, compressed double-gourd form, with a recessed base and tall gently flared neck, decorated with a lady with a foo dog at her side and a bird in flight amongst clouds, all reserved from a thick black glaze.
Height of the first: 2 3/4 inches (7 cm).
Condition: Chip, repair.

Rising from a short tapered foot to a barbed rim, the interior indented into eight lappets enclosing a qi lin, seascape with a mountain, cranes under a pine tree, a bird and prunus tree, the galleried mouth decorated inside and out with alternating bird and flower designs, the exterior with four bat roundels above overlapping upright lappets.
Diameter: 13 3/8 inches (34 cm).
Condition: Wear.

Two Large Chinese Embroidered Hanging Panels

The first of lingzhi-shaped outline, gilt-embroidered on a golden-yellow ground with two opposing dragons below a coral-red ground panel embellished with floral designs and three roundels containing characters, each reading Da, Hou, and Gong from right to left, with mirror decoration the second decorated with flowering branches issuing from gnarled rocks, inscribed in couched gilt thread, with three four-character seals, within a black-ground floral border.
Approximate size of the first: 52 x 38 inches (132 x 96.5 cm).
Condition: Loose threads, losses, areas of staining and fraying.

CONDITION: In overall good condition, when examined out of the frame the sheet is not laid down. Heavy mat burn around the whole image. Small tear in the bottom center of the sheet (only visible when unframed). The sheet has surface soiling throughout. Crease down the middle of the sheet, the stamp 3 is completely visible when the work is unframed. No visible watermark on the sheet.
The number 3 is in the upper right hand corner, but is blocked by frames matting

Of reddish clay, each gnarled cylindrical section set with a curved spout and loop handle and similarly molded with prunus flowers and branches issuing fruits, two teapots bearing makers marks to the underside, one reading Yixing Zisha and the other Yixing Zisha Chahu, the third with an impressed pictorial mark of a tailed animal.
