It hung in their household until 2007 when it was inherited by their daughter who had it in her home until 2018 when she moved into a retirement home. Although has been moved several times since its creation the work has always been professionally crated and moved, has never hung in a home with nicotine or in direct sunlight.

CONDITION: In overall good condition, when examined out of the frame the sheet is not laid down, does have old (non archival) tape residue verso in all four corners. The acid from the tape is starting to come through to the front of the sheet but it is very faint. Slight discoloration around the very edges of the sheet. The colors of the print are bright and the impression is strong.

Provenance: The current owners mother was acquainted with Paul Jacoulet in the late 40s and these works were give to her by the artist. They were passed to the current owner through descent.
CONDITION: All of the prints are in overall good condition. Discoloration to the sheet in the margins from being unframed especially at the very edges of the paper. There are no sizeable tears or abrasions to the sheets. On all 5 of the pages there is a corner missing but it is minor push pin holes in the corners of the sheets. The colors are bright, with some wear to the edges from being handled.

CONDITION: In overall good condition, when examined out of the frame the board is not laid down but is hinged at the top. The piece is watercolor with gouache there are no visible areas of abrasions or restoration. The colors are bright and clean. The frame is in fair condition, the screw holes have been oxidized and the glass of the frame has a crack in the upper corner. The piece would benefit from being from re-framed.
