Finely carved elephant with long tusks and head turn to the left side, a ruyi breath from its nose, surmounted by s group of laughing boys clambering up toward a giant double gourd bottle which upside down to another boy sitting on a lotus pip, the stone of greyish-white hue and inclusions.
Height approximately 7 inches (17.7 cm).
Condition: Some wear and scratches.

Tibetan Style Qingbai Ware Monks Cap Ewer

Possibly Yuan Dynasty (14th Century).
The well-potted, globular body tapers towards the splayed foot, with a pronounced ridge at the base of the slightly flared neck and the elongated, curved spout which projects from the rim of the monks cap outline, the body with molded floral and pine tree decoration, covered overall with an even milky-white glaze.
Height 9 3/4 inches (24.7 cm).
Condition: Minor manufacturing defects.

A Green Molded Porcelain Peonies and Butterfly Vase

Qing Dynasty.

The ovoid-shaped body is finely decorated with blooming peonies and butterflies in flight, a four-character Wang Bingrong seal mark centering the slightly concave foot, covered overall in a lime green glaze, with a fitted Japanese pinewood padded box.
Height approximately 6 7/8 inches (17.4 cm).
Provenance: Purchased in Christies Hong Kong, in 1991 with an invoice. Lot 1070, 01 Oct 1991.

A Chinese Powder Blue Baluster Vase

Possibly Kangxi period, 19th century.
Of baluster body rising from a slightly tapered foot to a waisted neck and flared rim, the exterior covered overall with mottled cobalt blue hue, and the interior and the bottom remain ivory glaze base, the bottom incised a six characters Kangxi mark in a double circle.
Height 15 1/2 inches (39.3 cm).
Condition: Drilled hole to the base, light wear.

A Yellow Ground Blue and White Porcelain Moon Flask

The slightly domed sides, well painted with eight petal-shaped panels containing the Bajixiang within a key-fret border, encircling a domed circular center with central stylized floral medallion within a similar key-fret border, the narrow sides painted with a band of stylized lotus scroll, all below a cylindrical neck painted with scrolling Lingzhi below a bow-string band flanked by a pair of blue and white stylized dragon handles.
Heigh: 11 1/8 inches (27.5 cm).
Condition: A hole drilled to the base, minor chips to the mouth rim.

Of unusual tapering globular form, the large brush washer finely painted on the exterior wall with dragons in pursuit of flaming pearls amidst flowers and plants, and the recessed base inscribed with a six-character apocryphal Xuande mark in a double circle.

Condition: Wear, chips, cracks and hairlines.

Large Molded Famille Rose Baluster Enamelled Vase

The stoutly potted body supporting a tapered shoulder rising to a flared neck, flanked by a pair of orange glazed stylized dragon handles, the neck and shoulder decorated all over with Shou longevity characters and floral roundels on robins egg style blue glaze ground, and the body decorated with painted and relief molded panoramic scene of figures in various leisure pursuing activities in a landscape setting, above a band of overlapping orange-glazed lotus peddles, supported by a slightly spread food rim, engraved and gilt painted six-character Qianlong mark to the recessed bottom in the turquoise ground.
Height 20 inches (50.8 cm).

A Korean Brown Glazed Stoneware Jar in a Box

Joseon Dynasty, 17th/18th Century.
Of compressed globular form surrounded by a delicately formed rim flange and tapering inward toward the flat base, the matte reddish-brown glaze on the interior and exterior walls mottled with patches of shiny chocolate brown and covering part of the base displaying some kiln adhesions and a cinnamon burn where the fabric is exposed (lacquer repairs, hairline crack) now fitted with a Japanese black lacquer cover and storage box for use as a Mizusashi.
Diameter 6 2/4 inches (17 cm).
