Circa 1930.
Louis Majorelle (1859-1926). Beveled mirrored glass top on a vertically oriented macasser ebony body, intersected by two round glass panes, all resting on a silver-metal plinth base.
Majorelle black mark to the lower body.
Approximate dimensions: 22 1/2 high x 33 wide x 25 2/4 inches deep..
Condition: Noticeable shallow scratches to the mirrored glass top. Very minor patina to the metal base.
This item may require US Fish Wildlife CITES permit for export from the United States.

CONDITION: In overall good condition. Friar Drinking has two patches verso one right above the bottom stretcher bar and one right next to the right stretcher bar center. The canvas is not relined, but does look to have been cleaned. Monk looking in a Tankard in overall good condition, the canvas is not relined and there are no visible areas of repair or restoration. Neither was examined under black light.

Condition: In overall good condition. The canvas is not relined but there is a 1x1 inch patch verso. When examined under black light there are areas of in painting throughout along the top of the canvas where it meets the frame, throughout her dress and curved arm on the table and where the figures arm is holding the mandolin which corresponds to the patch verso. Aged varnish discoloration throughout, would benefit from being cleaned and re-varnished.
