Molded with elephant head handles, cup form mouth, the waisted neck and body showing a pair of blue and orange color dragon amid composite lotus flowers and trailing vines outlined in underglaze blue and picked out in yellow, iron red and green enamels also used for the cloud-collar border bands at the shoulder and above the foot, the recessed base remain unglaze. Six-character mark in underglazed blue beneath the neck.

The first embroidered on a pale green ground with couched gilt thread and polychrome floss, depicting twin phoenixes, flowers and butterflies in mirror image, with mirror decoration the second decorated on a purple ground with a pair of birds amidst various flowers issuing from gilt-embroidered branches, trimmed with a yellow band, all within a grayish-cream ground border of butterflies and flowers.
