Constructed on the large front panel of the wedding bed, portray in various levels of raucous stage performance, comprising fourteen weapon-bearing male and female warriors and civil and martial figures, all standing in vivid performing postures with dramatic facial expressions, with the entire composition filled with figures in elaborate theatrical costume. All embellished with carved and gilt trim wood panels, kingfisher feather and embroidered silk blue ground panels, suspended above an official presiding center-stage, the inscription reading Jia Gu Hui ( ), the further notes written in ink and paper reading Xiao Mei Xian ( ), (The theatrical Company at Yang Cheng Zu Lang Men Xiang Li Li, Guangzhou province) on the left-center of Arch, inscribed the makers mark reading Yuan Li Chang Zao (Made by Yuan Li Chang).
