Each barrel-form stool with two panels of courtly ladies and attendants between rows of raised bosses, all reserved on a dense pattern of leafy vines bearing fruits and flowers, with two opposing pierced joined cash designs, the top further decorated with a similar flowering foliate pattern interrupted by a central pierced cash medallion and four cartouches of different animals, all within a pale blue-ground leiwen border. Dimensions: 19 1/4 high x 12 inches wide (48.8 x 30.48 cm).
The shallow rounded sides rising to a gently flared rim, coveredoverall in copper red glaze, the base inscribed with a six-character Qianlong mark in underglaze blue. Diameter 8 inches (20.3 cm). Condition: Some hairlines.
